Terms

What SET Beta Access is, what it costs, and what we do and do not promise while SET is in beta.

Last updated 9 September 2026

What these terms cover

These terms cover this website and the purchase of SET Beta Access. Use of the SET application itself is additionally subject to the terms provided to beta participants.

Beta Access

SET Beta Access is a one-time payment of $99 covering four months of access to the current SET beta from the date of purchase. There is no recurring charge and no automatic renewal — when the four months are up, nothing further happens and nothing further is billed.

Access includes the beta updates released during your access period. It does not include any feature described on this site as planned or in development, and it is not a pre-order for one.

SET is beta software

SET is under active development. It may contain defects, it may change, and features may be added, altered, or removed during your access period. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and SET is provided on an “as is” basis.

Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. Save and export your projects rather than relying on the beta as the only place your work exists.

Statements about the future

Anything described on this site as planned or in development is a statement of current intent, not a commitment. Priorities, timing, and scope may change. Nothing on the roadmap should be relied on when deciding whether to buy — buy on what SET does today.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s terms. Prices are in US dollars. For a question about a charge, a purchase that did not complete, or a refund, email beta@setensembletech.com and we will sort it out with you.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to SET or its accounts, and do not resell or share your beta access. We may end access that is being used this way.

Your work and our software

The shows you design in SET are yours. SET, this website, and their content, branding, and software remain the property of Spatial Ensemble Technology.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as SET moves out of beta. The revision date at the top of this page tells you which version you are reading.
